Fan Engagement Idea #3: Perth Glory Mobile QR Code Man of the Match Voting

Here’s a creative idea that finally an Australian team is doing.

Perth Glory in the Australian A-League are asking fans to scan the QR code and vote for their weekly man of the match.

Fans can win a tank of fuel which is a bit odd given the sponsor is a car insurance company so I know I’d love nothing more than to win free comprehensive car insurance but this is still a very good way to engage fans at the ground……unless you’re on the 3G network!

Fan Engagement Ideas #2 Man Caves

An interesting and creative way to tap into the lives of the ‘fan’ can be to creative a competition on the ‘best man or woman cave’ via social media, getting fans to vote for which one is decked out the best.

Man caves have come along way in the last decade with fans pimping out their granny flats, spare rooms or shed.

I can’t help but think that this would make for a great segment on a sports TV show or for a team to run a competition for to find the best man/woman cave and showcase the lives of the fan!
